Abstract

Have this wild idea to connect your sock drawer to the internet? Want a network-connected fly swatter, but don't know where to start? Don't want to spend $$$$$ just to start tinkering? You don't have to! We'll spend around $20 exploring (practical?) examples of internet connected: * data collection (temp and humidity ftw!) * alerting (danger will robinson!) * checking (did I leave the garage door open? * controlling (who keeps turning off the lights?!!)
