Abstract

Building on from my introduction to PowerShell session, Function and Form introduces you to PowerShell functions, and tapping into some of PowerShells built in capabilities to create flexible and reusable bits of code. PowerShell functions enable the creation of complex tools that can adapt to different environments while simple Form driven scripts can help users with limited scripting knowledge to easily run the tools you create We will walk through the process of taking a simple Hyper-V VM build script, turning it into a function for repeatable use and creating a wrapper around it for ease of use by non scripters
