Web Dev 101: Foundations of Modern Programming

Noah Heck
11:10-12:25, Farnsworth

Abstract

Web apps are the future (and present) of application programming. Developing for the web lets developers write their application one time and have it available everywhere: desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, and televisions. Every screen you see has the option to run your application. Join us to get a taste of the foundations of the modern web. We'll look at HTTP requests, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and get an understanding of how these technologies work together to deliver modern experiences to our users. (No experience needed or expected; we're going to be starting from the beginning here)
